September visitors
On Saturday September 9th 2023, Pool of Life were delighted to welcome visitors from Manchester Dragoneers, Paddlers for Life Windermere, Preston Dragons, and Amathus.
The boats were brought into position at the pontoon and then cleaned ready for when our guests arrived.
We gathered around for a briefing of the day ahead.
Then, after a warm-up, we loaded both boats and went for a lovely paddle round the Albert Dock.
This was followed by some instructions on paddling techniques and a little race or two while we made our way back to the Watersports Centre.
A picnic buffet had been laid out and we couldn’t wait to tuck in. The perfect end to a wonderful training sessions.
