Pink Friday: Liverpool River Of Light
October 22nd 2021 was Pink Friday (a day to focus on breast cancer and all those affected by it) and also the start of Liverpool’s River of Light celebrations so the Pool of Life decided to have an evening paddle session to celebrate.
We dressed up in pink for the occasion and had a very enjoyable paddle from the water sports centre down to the Albert Dock.
Jules even managed to get the Liver Building to shine pink in our honour.
It was a cold, damp evening and a cup of warm mulled wine (non-alcoholic of course!) was just what we needed as we moored up for a short break.
Then it was back to the centre for a pink shot or two to celebrate our wonderful evening.
