Huge congratulations and many thanks to The David Lloyd Gym at Speke for their continued support, and for entering a team into our June 2019 Dragons & Flowers event.
They have truly entered into the spirit of Pool of Life by supporting our yearly fundraising event for three consecutive years, and enthusiastically supported our team training events including Florence in 2018 and Barcelona in 2019.
This year the David Lloyd Team from Speke – which includes staff and Club members – won the Best Fundraising Trophy at the Dragons & Flowers event for the second year running by filling their boat with a motley crew in fancy dress, and organising a Coffee Morning with a Line Dancing Demonstration.
Jenny Wray, their Sports Manager at Speke, has been the driving force and an amazingly source of enthusiasm and support to our cause, and she is continuing to support our training over the next year or so.
