Bradford Dragon Boat Festival, 19th-21st July, 2024
Once again Pool of Life travelled to Bradford Dragon Boat Festival to compete in the Multi-Charity Championship Supercup.
Some of the members just went for the day of our races, while others made a whole weekend of it and soaked up the carnival atmosphere.
Sunday was our race day. We arrived at Roberts Park and Gardens early to get a good spec for our camp.
There were plenty of team meetings to discuss tactics,
We took our places in the boat and paddled along to the starting point.
Then the racing against tough opposition began.
We did our best, enjoyed every second of it, and won the the third place trophy.
