Theatre Outing, 24th July 2021
On a sunny afternoon in July, when Covid-19 restrictions were quite relaxed, a group of Pool Of Life ladies had an afternoon trip to the Royal Court Theatre to watch the two-character play Ellen and Rigby.
Pre-show refreshments were consumed in the outside terrace of the nearby Courtyard Bar & Kitchen, a lovely place to sit and relax in the sunshine
Although Covid prevention measures in the theatre itself were not as stringent as imagined, the play was really funny (if a bit sad and thought provoking in places) and a good time was had by all.
Ellen & Rigby runs at Liverpool’s Royal Court from 2 July to 7 August 2021.
