21st Anniversary Gala
Pool of Life, the first ever Breast Cancer Survivors team in the UK, were celebrating 21 years of strength, resilience and camaraderie. Our dragon boat teams stands as a powerful testament to the unwavering spirit of those who have faced the battle against cancer.
Over the years, we have paddled together, not just in the water, but through life’s challenges, forging deep bonds that uplift and inspire. Each stroke of the paddle symbolizes our collective journey, one of courage, hope, and triumph.
Together, we honour the warriors who have inspired us, celebrate our victories, and continue to raise awareness for breast cancer. Here’s to the next chapter of our journey, filled with joy, friendship, and the relentless pursuit of a brighter future.
The evening of celebration was held at the Chung Ku Chinese Restaurant, which has beautiful views over the river.
As a special surprise Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu entertained us with a superb show featuring dancing Chinese dragons. They were amazing, everyone loved it and it made the night extra special, Thanks to Steve, who runs the group.
