Paddle On The River Dee, Chester. 23rd October 2022

Pool of Life members were invited to join Amathus Dragonboat & Canoe Club for a Sunday paddle along the River Dee. We started at Sandy Lane and made our way to Farndon Bridge (also known as Holt Bridge) which crosses the River Dee and the England-Wales border between the village of Farndon, Cheshire and the town of Holt, Wrexham.

The all-around journey was around 23 miles and took 6 hours which was a challenge but thankfully the weather was kind to us, the craic was good and we had a very enjoyable time.
